AI Engineer Tech Lead

About the role We're looking for an AI Engineer Team Lead to technically guide and mentor a team of junior AI engineers. This is a hands-on role focused predominantly on Agentic AI engineering within an AWS environment, ideal for someone with 3-5 years of experience who wants to both build and grow people. Responsibilities Team mentoring Guide the professional development of a team of junior engineers through consistent technical mentoring and applied feedback. Create individual growth plans and track each engineer's progress. Facilitate knowledge transfer through pair programming, code reviews, technical sessions, and knowledge sharing. Foster a collaborative environment where juniors are encouraged to learn and take on responsibility. Technical requirements Agentic AI (core) Solid hands-on experience building agentic AI systems — LLM applications, RAG, tool use, and agent orchestration. Amazon Bedrock — integration with foundation models and building production-grade agentic applications. Strong proficiency in Python. Cloud & infrastructure (AWS) Experience with the AWS ecosystem and designing cloud-native solutions. (is a plus) Amazon EKS — deploying and operating containerized workloads (Kubernetes), including scaling, networking, and resource management. (is a plus) Nice to have: ML experience — Amazon SageMaker (training, fine-tuning, deployment) and ML frameworks across the model lifecycle (MLOps). Data engineering & orchestration — Apache Airflow (building and maintaining data pipelines / DAGs, scheduling, monitoring) and Apache Spark (large-scale distributed data processing and job optimization). Broader AWS cloud engineering experience. General 3–5 years of relevant experience in AI engineering. Knowledge of software architecture and scalable system design. Previous experience in technical coordination or mentoring is a plus. Excellent communication and mentoring skills. Advanced English. Role is open to both B2C / B2B
