DevSecOps Engineer

Role Purpose Support pipeline, gate, deployment and evidence integration for the squad by adopting existing DevSecOps foundations - explicitly without duplicating the foundation stream. Key Responsibilities Integrate squad deliverables with existing CI/CD pipelines, quality gates and dashboards. Support build, deployment and environment needs across the sprint cadence. Surface build/deployment evidence, security evidence and operational readiness artefacts. Apply dependency scanning, SBOM and security gate outputs within squad delivery. Work with the DevSecOps initiative for handoffs, RACI and metrics - consume, don't rebuild. Support observability and monitoring integration for squad outputs. Essential Skills & Experience Strong CI/CD engineering (Azure DevOps, Jenkins or GitHub Actions). Containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). Infrastructure-as-code and environment automation. Security tooling integration: dependency scanning, SAST/SCA, SBOM. Scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and Git-based workflows.
