Junior Graphic Designer

WALDEVAR Energy is a leading general contractor in the European renewable energy sector, specializing in large-scale photovoltaic projects. As a full-scope EPC contractor with dedicated O&M, SCADA & Commissioning, and Floating Photovoltaic Systems (FPV) divisions, the company manages every phase of the project lifecycle, from design and engineering to execution, commissioning, operation, and maintenance. We are looking for a Junior Graphic Designer with 2–3 years of experience to join our team and help shape how our brand, projects, and achievements are communicated visually. Main responsibilities Graphic Design & Branding – Create corporate brochures, event materials, presentations, banners, and other visual assets, ensuring consistency with the WALDEVAR brand. Digital & Social Media – Design engaging static and animated content for LinkedIn, social media, and digital campaigns. Video Editing – Edit short-form videos, including Reels, event recaps, project updates and site progress content. AI-Powered Content Creation – Use AI image and video generation tools to create dynamic visual content, animate still assets, and streamline creative workflows. Motion Graphics – Develop animations, technical infographics, and motion-tracking content using specialized software. Requirements 2–3 years of relevant experience in graphic design, digital media, video production or a related field. Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro and After Effects. Familiarity with Figma and/or Canva. A portfolio demonstrating graphic design, video editing, motion graphics and/or creative personal projects. Good understanding of composition, typography, layout, color grading, video pacing and print production standards. Experience with generative AI tools for image, video or audio creation is a strong advantage. Bachelor’s degree or accredited certification in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Digital Media, Video Production or a related field is preferred. Skills & Competencies You have a strong sense of visual storytelling and a genuine passion for creating compelling content. You are creative, curious and detail-oriented, with an eye for quality and consistency. You are highly organized and comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines. You are a collaborative team player, open to feedback and able to work effectively with colleagues across different functions. You are comfortable working full-time, 5 days/week, from our office, alongside the team.
