Performance Testing Engineer

This position is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days per week in the Bucharest office (50% of time). 🚀Then what? We are looking for a Performance Testing Engineer to join our banking client and help ensure that applications deliver strong performance, scalability, and reliability before reaching production. You will work closely with developers, testers, architects, DevOps and Infrastructure teams to design, execute and analyze performance tests across enterprise applications and different technology stacks. Responsibilities: Define performance testing strategies, plans, workload models and success criteria based on business and technical requirements. Develop reusable performance test scripts and realistic workload models. Design and execute Load, Stress, Spike, Endurance, Scalability and Capacity tests. Analyze performance results, identify bottlenecks and perform root cause analysis using application and infrastructure metrics. Prepare performance reports and provide optimization recommendations to technical stakeholders. Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines and support test automation. Collaborate with development, DevOps, architecture and infrastructure teams throughout the testing lifecycle. Contribute to improving performance testing processes, standards and best practices. Technical Skills: Experience in performance testing and with at least one performance testing tool, preferably LoadRunner Enterprise / VuGen. Knowledge of performance testing methodologies, workload modelling and performance analysis. Good understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs and Web applications. Experience with JavaScript, Java, Python or Groovy for scripting and test customization. Experience with monitoring/observability tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, Datadog, Splunk or ELK is a plus. Basic understanding of Git and CI/CD tools.
