QA Analyst (Manual Testing)

WALDEVAR Energy is seeking a QA Analyst with a strong attention to detail and a structured approach to software quality to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of a diverse portfolio of products, including user-facing web applications, AI-powered backend systems, and robotics software. You will work closely with engineering, product, and design teams throughout the development lifecycle, identifying potential issues, validating product requirements, and helping ensure that our solutions meet high standards of functionality, reliability, and usability. Location: Voluntari, Romania Employment type: Full-time Work model: On-site Key Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements and technical specifications. Perform thorough manual testing, including functional, regression, usability, and exploratory testing. Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects using tools such as Jira, and provide clear, reproducible steps. Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements and identify quality risks throughout the development lifecycle. Validate software fixes and perform appropriate regression testing to ensure issues are fully resolved. Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and practices. Maintain clear and structured documentation of test cases, test results, defects, and QA processes. Support the delivery of reliable software across web, backend, AI, and robotics projects. Required Qualifications 2+ years of professional experience in a manual software QA or testing role. Strong understanding of QA methodologies, processes, and best practices. Proven experience creating and executing detailed test plans and test cases. Hands-on experience with bug-tracking and project management tools, particularly Jira. Strong attention to detail and a systematic, methodical approach to testing. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience working within an Agile/Scrum development environment. Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman or Insomnia. Basic knowledge of SQL for database querying and data validation. ISTQB certification or another relevant QA certification. Experience testing complex web applications, backend services, or distributed systems.
