QA and Testing Engineer (Manual)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced QA and Testing Engineer with a strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies and a passion for delivering high-quality software. In this role, you will be a key contributor to our eKYC project, responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans to validate the functionality, performance, and security of our KYC platform. Key Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and non-functional requirements. Participate in the review and improvement of test processes and methodologies and provide recommendations for improvement. Collaborate with product owners, developers, and compliance specialists to understand eKYC requirements, user stories, and technical specifications. Identify, document, and track defects through resolution. Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, attend daily stand-up meetings, provide feedback, and contribute to sprint retrospectives. Is an integral part of the SDLC process by creating/approving TER(test execution report) for production deployments. Keep up to date with new testing tools, techniques, and technologies to improve overall testing quality. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards (e.g., AML, GDPR, local regulations). Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, ALM, qTest). Solid understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and various testing methodologies (Agile, Scrum). Familiarity with database concepts and ability to write basic SQL queries for data validation. Experience in API testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI or Bruno. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Proficiency in designing, writing, and executing test cases. Preferred: Experience testing KYC, AML, or other compliance-related systems/projects is highly preferred. Certifications in Quality Assurance (e.g., ISTQB). Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, Azure, AWS). Practical experience in testing AI/ML-enabled functionality or applying AI-assisted tools to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness. Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus.
