SAP ABAP Developer- Romania

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our team and contribute to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of SAP solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with ABAP development, SAP business processes, and integration technologies, as well as the ability to work effectively with functional and technical teams. Responsibilities Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP. Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions. Develop and maintain reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows. Work with standard SAP functionality and develop custom solutions where required. Perform debugging, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and performance optimization. Develop and maintain ABAP Objects using object-oriented programming principles. Work with SAP data models, database tables, views, structures, and data elements. Develop and maintain integrations between SAP and external systems using appropriate technologies. Collaborate closely with SAP Functional Consultants, Business Analysts, and other development teams. Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with development standards and best practices. Prepare technical documentation and maintain development-related specifications. Support testing, deployment, and production issue resolution. Ensure solutions are secure, reliable, maintainable, and aligned with SAP architecture standards. Contribute to continuous improvement and modernization of SAP development practices. Must-Have Skills 3+ years of professional experience in SAP ABAP development. Strong knowledge of ABAP and ABAP Objects. Experience with reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and user exits/BAdIs. Good understanding of SAP data dictionary (DDIC), including tables, structures, data elements, domains, and views. Experience with SAP debugging and performance optimization. Good understanding of SQL and database concepts. Experience working with SAP integration technologies and interfaces. Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles. Experience working in SAP development environments and transport management processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an international team. Good command of English. Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with SAP S/4HANA. Knowledge of ABAP CDS Views and modern ABAP development. Experience with SAP Fiori / SAPUI5 and OData services. Knowledge of RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model). Experience with AMDP and HANA database development. Experience with SAP APIs, IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, and web services. Knowledge of SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI/CO, PP, EWM, or HCM. Experience with SAP Cloud technologies and SAP BTP. Knowledge of SAP development best practices and clean code principles. Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
