About the role Our IT team is looking for an SAP ABAP Developer for SAP S/4HANA, with a focus on Production Planning. You will support and improve production planning and execution processes in our SAP S/4HANA environment. The role combines expert support, development, and collaboration on global process improvements. What we are looking for Hands-on experience with production planning and execution, including consulting and development, using SAP PP or SAP S/4HANA PP. Ability to understand and develop ABAP Objects code, with an interest in learning technologies such as SAP Fiori and OData. Experience integrating subsystems within the SAP environment. Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to complex, cross-functional topics. A collaborative, proactive, and solution-focused working style. Excellent English skills. Ability to work effectively in international and intercultural teams. Nice to have Good German language skills. Experience with Atlassian tools such as Confluence and Jira. Key responsibilities Advise the business on production planning and execution. Provide third-level support for complex system and process issues. Develop new functions and integrate them with other SAP modules and external systems. Analyze business requirements and design end-to-end planning and execution processes with internal stakeholders and SAP colleagues. Plan and deliver training sessions to support knowledge sharing and process adoption. Help develop STIHL’s global SAP Plan-to-Manufacture (PTM) template as part of an international team.
