Senior Research & Data Analyst (with Power BI)

MOL Romania is looking for a Senior Research & Data Analyst in our Retail Marketing department to support smarter marketing decisions through advanced analytics, customer insights, and market research. As a Senior Research & Data Analyst, you will be responsible for the following: Analyze marketing, loyalty, and category performance data to uncover trends and identify growth opportunities Provide monthly and quarterly analysis on brand tracking, loyalty performance, and campaign effectiveness Develop business cases for marketing initiatives, using historical data and clear financial logic Conduct competitor monitoring and consumer behavior research, turning insights into strategic recommendations Track and report key KPIs and marketing budget performance Collaborate with Group and local teams on research studies, data projects, and analytics reporting Use tools like Power BI, Excel, and statistical software to visualize and communicate findings Ensure that data insights lead to concrete action plans and support ongoing commercial decisions To be successful in the role, you should have: Higher education in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a similar field Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing research & data analysis, or commercial analytics is must Proven expertise in generating reports in Power BI is must, Excel (advanced), and ideally SQL or other analysis tools Familiarity with research methodologies (qualitative and quantitative), ability to transform complex data into business-relevant insights Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently Fluent in English (minimum B2 level) Driver’s license is a plus Why MOL Romania?
