Sr. AEM Developer (Backend-Focused)

Role Summary The AEM Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Adobe Experience Manager solutions, including custom components, templates, workflows, and integrations with third-party systems. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain custom AEM components, templates, and workflows based on business needs Integrate AEM with external systems and APIs, ensuring secure and performant data exchange Configure and optimize AEM Dispatcher for caching and content delivery Work with AEM as a Cloud Service and leverage AEM Cloud Manager for deployment and environment management Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of UI/UX designs with AEM back-end Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and performance tuning to ensure high-quality deliverables Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and non-production environments Follow Agile development practices, participate in sprint planning, and contribute to backlog refinement Act as technical lead for offshore delivery, mentor junior team members Required Technical Skills min. 4 years of experience Adobe Experience Manager (on-prem and/or Cloud Service) Java, OSGi, Sling, HTL/Sightly, JCR AEM Universal Builder Build and version control tools: Maven, Git Front-end skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript AEM Dispatcher configuration and optimization Experience with AEM Cloud Manager Benefits: Private medical insurance provided by Groupama 13th salary 21 days of paid annual leave Access to e-learning platforms Internal knowledge-sharing events and learning sessions Flexible working options – work fully remotely, in a hybrid setup, or from our Bucharest office, depending on your preference.
